Hi there, Sylvia Charpentier here.  

I grew up in a small town near Savannah, GA where my parents built their business: Big Top Hobby Shop.  Drawn to the comic book cover art, I began my art journey in drawing.  

College introduced me to Adobe Photoshop which quickly piqued my interest, more so than photography itself did; I didn't have fancy, expensive equipment, and prefer working behind the scenes in "post-production."  I'm always in awe of the power of Photoshop and love getting lost in its capabilities while working on photos.  One of my favorite things is to show my husband before and afters at the end of the day.

I discovered my love for video editing the summer of 2019.  After trying to show my mom videos from my honeymoon proved frustrating for the both of us, opening each file one by one:  "No, not this one, is it this one? It's later in the video, no now I passed it..."   Realizing it would be more enjoyable for all parties to compile the footage ahead of time, I dove into my first editing project.  I loved it so much, I was hard pressed to stop working long enough to eat!
